Thanks loads for the food notes from Spain! 
The note about the ham on the bar reminds me
of that Spanish film, I forget the name, in which murder was committed with a
swung ham. 

We have a Galician restaurant right here on 14th Street.

Tracy, Gretchen, and I spent a couple of weeks in Portugal a few years back,
and the food was amazing. We particularly enjoyed a lunch of barnacles in a
tavern in the Algarve.

I've been enjoying your travelogues. Keep up the good work. (I'm saving your
food notes on Spain.) Gretchen's brother was a male model in Barcelona for a
while, but we never got the chance to visit him. Now he lives in Galisteo,
New Mexico.
